The new 26,000m² Baird Family Hospital is currently under construction. This new 1,000 room facility on the Foresterhill campus will draw together maternity, gynaecology and neonatal services, together with breast services, reproductive medicine, radiology services, and operating theatres. The new hospital will include cutting-edge research and reaching facilities and non-clinical support services.
The Baird Family Hospital is part of a £255 million investment being made by the Scottish Government in clinical facilities for NHS Grampian. The new hospital will have physical links into Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital to allow easy transfer for patients.
